Hooded Merganser

I love watching the "Diving Ducks" go under water to feed.  I try to figure out where they will pop-up...sometimes 50 feet from where they dove.

Crow

My favorite spot

I do most of my thinking (snoring) here..

Got Geese

Lots of Geese, and lots of noise... in my cove one morning.  A good friend cropped this one for me.    I love what he did with this photo.

Storm on the way

Nothing better than sitting on the porch watching the storms approach

Breakfast

I watched this Osprey dive and catch it's breakfast.. Unbelievable sight !  Not for the squeamish..

Waiting 'till Spring

I took this picture in the winter.  Now that summer is here, this boat is out crabbing and fishing every day..

Blue Jay

I grabbed my camera when I looked out the windows and saw this Blue Jay on the shoreline.  I was surprised to see the seed in it's mouth when I downloaded the photo.

Wheat Field

I took this picture of a wheat field in April, while taking my (sometimes) morning walk..
The wheat was harvested in late June.

Crab Feast

Sunday afternoon Crab Feast on the Front Porch...yummm

Sunset on the Yeocomico River

Red Sunsets on the River can be an  incredible sight and a Sailor's Delight..

Sailing away

Black Snake

I do like Spiders and Snakes...This black snake was relaxing near my shed, when I joined him on the ground and took his picture.

Morning Reflections

I woke up one morning in February and was mesmerized by the reflection of the sunrise and trees in the water.

Taking Off

I have been trying for a few months to capture the Blue Heron in flight.  This Heron was standing  in the grass, and I must have accidentally startled him.

Sunrise on the Cove

I took this photo early one morning in December.  I was working on my computer and looked out the window.  My breath was taken away...  I knew I only had a few minutes to get the shot.  A friend of my cropped this photo for me. I don't yet have the "eye"..
